The Disappearance of Nguyet Thu “Wiki” Phung

Stories of the Unsolved

EARLY LIFE:

Nguyet Thu “Wiki” Phung was born on September 18, 1971 in Vietnam. Around 1975, she and her family immigrated to the United States, as her parents wanted to escape the country’s communist takeover. They, Nguyet and her five siblings settled in Snohomish County, Washington.

In the beginning, his family believed him to be a runaway, as he had been displaying rebellious behavior and was experimenting with alcohol and drugs. There were also family problems; his parents were headed for divorce and frequently argued.
