NFL Week 6 Predictions

Thursday, October 14:

Tampa Bay at Philadelphia

I am always mindful of the short week trap game; however, the Bucs are just too good.

Tampa Bay 31 Philadelphia 23

Sunday, October 17:

Miami vs Jacksonville (at London)

Which will come first, a Jags win, or Urban Meyer turns in his keys to the team facility?

Miami 32 Jacksonville 27

Minnesota at Carolina

Who will make the big mistake when it counts?  I’m guessing Sam Darnold.

Minnesota 26 Carolina 24

LA Chargers at Baltimore

Head coach Brandon Staley has things seeming different in LA.

LA Chargers 28 Baltimore 24

LA Rams at NY Giants

Who will suit up for Joe Judge in this one?

LA Rams 37 NY Giants 16

Houston at Indianapolis

The hapless Texans not given much love.  They keep this one closer than what most people will think.

Indianapolis 27 Houston 22

Kansas City at Washington

Will the Chiefs win another game?  Absolutely.

Kansas City 33 Washington 26

Green Bay at Chicago

Bears quarterback Justin Fields gets to see what this rivalry is all about.

Green Bay 25 Chicago 20

Cincinnati at Detroit

Like Brandon Staley, Zac Taylor seems to have initiated a culture change in Cincinnati.  We’ll have to see what’s up with quarterback Joe Burrow.  Meanwhile the Lions have become adept at losing on field goals.  Until they can prove to me otherwise…….

Cincinnati 23 Detroit 20

Arizona at Cleveland

Wait, the CARDINALS are the last unbeaten team?  Two explosive offenses.  This should be a fun one.  Browns pin the first loss on Arizona.

Cleveland 33 Arizona 30

Dallas at New England

Cowboys are scoring a lot of points.  Patriots’ bend but don’t break defense poses as a challenge.

Dallas 24 New England 17

Las Vegas at Denver

Raiders are in turmoil.  They get a Broncos team that has lost two in a row.  Extra motivation for Vegas.

Las Vegas 23 Denver 19

Seattle at Pittsburgh

Geno Smith is under center for the Seahawks for a while.  This is a tough place for his first start.

Pittsburgh 24 Seattle 16

Monday, October 18:

Buffalo at Tennessee

The Bills will be coming off the high of their primetime Sunday night win in Kansas City.  The Titans will be a formidable opponent, but Buffalo looks like the class of the AFC.

Buffalo 31 Tennessee 24
