2021-2022 CBB Full Season Preview By: Peter Snyder

Very in depth preview of the upcoming season! College hoops fans should take the time to read!

It wasn’t normal, but it was basketball. In a year that featured COVID regulations, reduced crowds and an NCAA Tournament mega-site, college basketball as we know it became as foreign to the common eye as a trip to France. But fear not, as we now flip the calendar year and continue to progress to a sense of normalcy. Expect full crowds and ruckus atmospheres come November, as begin our 353 team climb to Mount March. Are you ready?

Pac 12

Pac-12 media rights: Estimating value based on Fox RSNs sale

We start our preview with what Bill Walton likes to call “The Conference of Champions.” And make fun of that statement all you want, but when push comes to shove, the boys out west know how to perform when the lights are on. Take last March for example, when the Pac 12 had not one, not two, but four teams in the sweet 16 and 3 in the elite 8…

Baseball is Over

And just like that, baseball season is over. Congratulations to the Atlanta Braves on winning the World Series for the first time since 1995. From a losing record at the all-star break, to losing their best player, and through a meager total of 88 regular season wins, the Braves, buoyed by several trade deadlines acquisitions, knocked off three teams with at least 95 victories.

For me, I proved once again that I am no expert by picking the Astros in six games. I also picked the Dodgers and Red Sox in the LCS. In the World Series, I concentrated so much on the potent Astros lineup of Altuve, Bregman, Correa, Alverez, and Brantley, that I completely overlooked the mashing potential of Atlanta. I think Jorge Soler’s home run just landed somewhere in Georgia. I have to give credit to the Braves pitching staff, especially their bullpen, who for the most part, shut Houston’s bats down.

Chicago Sports Recap: 11/1/21 — INSANE SPORTS

Celtics fan here. Backbreaking loss to the Bulls last night. The way this game played out is proof positive that no lead is safe in a league where it is commonplace to take one’s foot off the gas and become complacent, chucking up threes, forgetting there is a defensive side of the court, and basically ceasing all positive things that built such a big lead in the first place. Kudos to the Bulls for an inspiring comeback. Well earned!

Ottawa Senators 1 – Chicago Blackhawks 5 Highlights:  Patrick Kane felt all the losses weighing on the Chicago Blackhawks, even while he was away from the team because of COVID-19. That weight is gone now. Kane had three goals and an assist in his return to the lineup, and the Blackhawks beat the Ottawa Senators 5-1 on Monday […]
